Meet The Pet Minder

Hello and welcome to my website! Born and brought up in Surrey, I grew up with pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, ponies and horses. I have always loved being around animals and often cared for friends' and neighbours' pets in their absences.

After forging successful careers, both within the teaching profession and as a senior Executive Assistant and event organiser for UHNW individuals and City companies, I wanted to combine my skills with my love and experience of animals to create a new business.
On moving back to the Surrey Hills a couple of years ago, I decided to start up The Surrey Hills Pet Minder service and have adored meeting, caring for and playing with all my new animal friends - whether in the comfort of their own homes, in temporary residences or in the Great Outdoors.

I expanded my skillset by becoming a dog trainer with the IMDT. I love teaching puppies, dogs and their owners new skills in my classes, workshops and on my training walks.

I take my pet minding very seriously, obtaining a Level 3 OFQUAL qualification in Dog Walking and Pet Sitting, as well as an advanced certification in Pet First Aid. I have an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service and I am fully insured.

As well as my own clients, I enjoy being a volunteer walker for a local dog rescue where I get to handle a whole spectrum of different dogs with different issues - but all wonderful.
